چکیده
MANET stands for mobile ad-hoc network, it consists of mobile devices which are free to move arbitrary, and here inter-node connectivity may change frequently during normal operation. It has dynamic topology and no fixed infrastructure. Here all Network activities are executed by node themselves. It is widely used in military Battle field, sensor networks (to monitor environmental condition over large area), Vehicular ad hoc network, emergency operation (for disaster relief etc). There are certain limitation using MANET i.e. it has dynamic topology, limited security for data, limited bandwidth and routing problems. The main objective of this work is to compare and analyses the performance of routing protocols (AODV, DSDV and DSR) in terms of throughput rate, good-put, average End to End delay, packet drop, number of packets Send and number of packet received. The major goal of this study is to analyze the performance of well known MANETs routing protocol in case under low, medium and high density scenario. We find that the performance varies widely across different network sizes and results from one scenario cannot be applied to those from the other scenario. AODV performance is the best considering its ability to maintain connection by periodic exchange of

Comparative Performance Analysis of AODV,DSR, TORA and OLSR Routing Protocols in MANET Using OPNET
Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs) are receiving a significant interest and are becoming very popular in the world of wireless networks and telecommunication. MANETs consist of mobile nodes which can communicate with each other without any infrastructure or centralized administration. In MANETs, the movement of nodes is unpredictable and complex; thus making the routing of the packets challenging....

The need to have Intelligent Vehicle System has paved the way for the rapid emergence of Vehicular Adhoc Networks (VANET) which allows communication to take place between the vehicles. The effective implementation of VANET, a sub class of mobile adhoc networks, depends upon the routing protocols used which behave differently under different environments. This paper attempts to study the behavio...
متن کاملA Survey on Congestion Control Technique in MANET/Review Paper
-The purpose of this research is to study and analyze various congestion control mechanisms using a number of routing protocols in Mobile Adhoc Network (MANET). As MANET is infrastructureless network so node movement and data load traffic which exceeds the network capacity, can not be predicted which leads to problem of congestion. The objective of this paper is to design a comparative analysis...
متن کاملComparison of Random Waypoint & Random Walk Mobility Model under DSR, AODV & DSDV MANET Routing Protocols
Mobile Adhoc Network is a kind of wireless ad hoc network where nodes are connected wirelessly and the network is self configuring. MANET may work in a standalone manner or may be a part of another network. In this paper we have compared Random Walk Mobility Model and Random Waypoint Mobility Model over two reactive routing protocols Dynamic Source Routing (DSR) and Adhoc On-Demand Distance Vec...

A Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET) is selfconfiguring network of mobile nodes connected by wireless links to form an arbitrary topology without the use of existing infrastructure. This paper does the comparative investigations on the performance of routing protocols Dynamic Source Routing (DSR), Ad-hoc On demand distance vector (AODV) and Destination-Sequenced Distance-Vector (DSDV) for wireless a...
